Monet was visiting Paris the Louvre. He then witnessed painters painting magnificent works of art. That was when he was inspired to start painting. He packed up his bags and moved to Paris to start a new life. In May 1871, he moved to Zaadam in the Netherlands where he made 25 paintings.
He later married Camille Monet and had two children. Camille became sick with tuberculosis in 1876. She died soon after she caught this disease. Monet started making more paintings than ever. My favorite is the Woman With a Parasol inspired by his wife and his daughter.
