Blog Assignment #9- Teen Challenge USA

Who: Troubled teens
What: Teen Challenge USA
When: All year
Where: United States and Puerto Rico
Why: To help troubled teens who need Christ
How: They send missionaries to Puerto Rico and other states in the US to help the teens

The Teen Challenge USA is a group of missionaries who are very concerned with the teens in our society. About every 30 seconds, a teen somewhere around the world commits suicide. They usually do this because of depression, alcohol, drugs, and even relationships. The Teen Challenge USA is there to help this poor teens. They provide them with the Word of God.

Teen Challenge USA helps this people become mentally-sound, emotionally balanced, socially-adjusted, physically-well, and spiritually-alive. They provide them with Bibles, and other Biblical things to help strengthen them in their walk with God. They are not a rehabilitation center, but they are sometimes used as one. They help people get off of drugs, and other things. Such as alcohol.

Teen Challenge USA also does a 24 hour fund raiser type thing. They sit at computers and people call in to send them money to help them. Another thing they do is Global Internships. People from ALL across the world come become an intern to help the TCUSA with helping the many different people who need God. They are truly devoted to God and helping others.

They can be contacted in many ways. If you would like to become an intern there, contact them at info@agfinancial.org. If you can't reach them at their email, you can also try calling them at (417) 831-4776. The interns will have to go through either a 2 week training program or a 2 1/2 month program. They will also be required to go over seas.

In conclusion, Teen Challenge USA (TCUSA) is a great foundation. They learn to put their desires aside and worry more about others. If all these people who are committing suicide didn't, our world would have so many more people in it. Which means there would be a more bigger number of Christians. I would like to be able to do what these people do! :))
